Please tell us about your Interview procedure at Greymeter (Short listing procedure, GDs, Interviews).

Praniti Durgapal Greymeter Summer Internship Programme Marketing InternI sat for the internship fair organised by Enactus, NSIT. The selection was on the basis of a personal interview. A handful of students were selected from our college to lntern at Greymeter.


What makes this company different from other similar firms?

Greymeter is a new entrant in the market and in a short time has managed to create a niche for itself. Greymeter’s product is highly unique, which gives it an edge over other companies. It is an online skills demonstration & crowd sourcing platform, the only one of its kind in India. It’s product idea has tremendous potential.


Elaborate on the type of work in this kind of role?

I was in the marketing team of the company. The marketing team is further divided into two teams. One team for Students  and other team for company acquisition. Our product caters to both companies and students; with two teams working simultaneously targeting two audiences we get more users to sign in.

I was working with the company acquisition team and my job was to get companies as clients and establish our company’s brand in the corporate sector.


What all growth opportunities do this company provides? Are there any global exposures?

I personally feel that working in a start up is a great learning experience for any individual. A smaller team means more responsibility and more accountability, there are no separate silos, the advantage is that you get exposure to different areas and verticals and you are as involved and doing similar work as the regular employees. I would recommend that every body should at least once experience the start up life.


How’s the general working culture and interaction with senior level executives?

The working culture is relaxed but at the same time, highly productive. Everybody in the office made me feel very welcome and interaction with senior level executives is encouraged.


Are there any activities/events apart from work to motivate employees?

Working in Greymeter was fun more than anything else. I learnt from my fellow employees  at the professional and personal level.


Would you like to share some negative points which you might have experienced while working here?

The location of the office in Noida was the only drawback as I had a tough time commuting from Delhi, changing transport modes thrice on a one way commute and in summers it was very exhausting.


Would you recommend this company to a friend? Why?

Definitely! I had a wonderful time in the office. I used to learn something new at the office everyday. Instead of just assigning the work, my seniors did the hand holding ,their thrust was both on acquiring  knowledge and experience. It was a rich and rewarding experience.


What are your future plans? Will you be working here, looking to switch or going for higher studies?

I look forward to continue my association with the company. I have one more year of college life before I  complete my graduation.
