What makes this company different from other firms?

How did you prepare for the placement season? What advice would you give to your juniors regarding the placement season?

I only read the basics of the subject that one, at the college level, must know. I  practiced a little about the GD sessions by looking at the mirror and speaking on various topics. Also its important forus to know what’s going on in the country and abroad, i.e. current affairs. The advice I’d like to give to my juniors is that answer truthfully , prepare sincerely and always remain confident.

 

What’s the role of academics in getting a good placement at CVS , DU ?

Academics  lead  to  clearing  your  concepts  well  which  is  a  mandate  in  therecruitment process.  Moreover, at least 60-65 percent marks are mandatory with nobackloads to sit in these processes. They know about your course and will question you  on  the  topics  covered  at  your  college.

 

Elaborate on the type of work in this kind of role?

My work was to meet architects , builders , interior designers . I had to strike a conversation with them . Tell them about our company , the kind of work we do. Tell them about how we could work together . And finally , crack deals for Gloob Décor.

 

What growth opportunities does this company provide? Is there any global exposure?

The growth opportunities are many as it is a start up company and is India’s fastest growing home décor brand with over 5000 products . It does have global exposure since it’s spread world wide and provides opportunities to promote the same across the globe.

 

Would you like to give any general advice to your juniors?

Yes. Only go for something you love to do. Then work becomes fun and you enjoy a lot. Also have faith in yourself . If one door closes, many other will open. So stay optimistic always .
