Aman Jain Cuisine Links Internship Process Product Development Intern All students were called for the internship process for Cuisine Links.  There was only one round (Interviews). I had applied for sales and  product development profiles. The interview was mostly based on my  resume. I was asked about my co-curricular activities. I was also asked  about my good academic scores given I was so involved everywhere else.

What helped you sail through the hurdles and crack one of the  finest internships?

Hard work and perseverance are key to crack an interview. One needs to work around the year in co-curricular to develop a suitable profile. Confidence is of utmost important in any interview. One need to be confident about what they say in an interview.

How did you prepare for the internship season? What advice would you give to your juniors regarding the internship season?

I did not prepare in any specific way as I had built my profile in the non-tech domain in the second year and did not need to prepare much.

What’s the role of academics in getting a good internship at NSIT?

For an internship in the non-technical domain, percentage in not that important, but a decent percentage always comes in handy. For a technical internship in core-electronics, academics play a key role as many of the interview/written questions are based on courses taught in Electronics.

What all internships and projects you did while in college? How did you get them?

I have co-authored in two conference papers in the field of digital electronics. I simply approached a professor in college. I have not done any internship.

Would you like to give any general advice to your juniors?

A question that all my juniors ask is how important is academics, and I always tell them that if you are aiming for a job in a good technical company, you need score 70% regularly. Otherwise, do a lot of projects and internships in the field of area you like.
